Marasi Colms begins as the illegitimate half-sister of Steris Harms, a former prosecutor's intern turned constable whose early infatuation with Waxillium Ladrian and dependence on his reputation chafe against her desire to be recognized on her own merits. Through the Bleeder crisis she proves herself a principled investigator who champions due process even amid riots and political corruption, and Harmony himself reveals he maneuvered her into a position to serve Elendel. By the time of The Lost Metal she is a seasoned special detective, Wayne's partner of six years, Allik's committed partner and a reconciled sister to Steris, who leads missions against the Set in Bilming, defeats the Hemalurgic gang leader the Cycle, earns the Ghostbloods' respect and helps collapse Autonomy's portal, emerging from Wax's shadow as a hero credited with helping save the world.

Description

A capable law enforcement officer in her twenties, Marasi carries herself with practical confidence. She favors a professional uniform of vest and jacket paired with a calf-length skirt, often augmented by a breakaway gunbelt and rifle slung across her back. Her attire reflects her readiness for fieldwork in the bustling industrial city. A young-looking woman with blonde hair worn in a bun, dressed in a fashionable lavender-and-lace dress and a prim hat. In chapter 4, her face is spattered with blood and bits of flesh, and the dress is ruined beneath a sturdy brown jacket. A human woman serving as a special detective in the Elendel Constabulary, Marasi wears a practical vest and jacket over a calf-length skirt, her preferred uniform. Give her a poised, alert bearing suited to an experienced investigator, with a pouch or shoulder sack as practical accessories when appropriate. Her facial features, hair, complexion, and build are not specified by the available descriptions; keep them natural and understated rather than distinctive. A human woman serving as a law officer, dressed in practical trousers, a work shirt, and knee-high leather boots, with a gunbelt or metals belt and a shoulder bag or rucksack for investigative equipment. She carries herself with alert, purposeful composure and is often armed with a rifle or handgun. Her face, hair, and precise build are not specified by the available descriptions, so present her with a natural, understated appearance suited to a capable field detective.
