Armal Harms is a stately, somewhat old-fashioned noblewoman and distant cousin of Marasi Colms and Steris Ladrian, whose elegant bearing belies a resourceful and decisive spirit. Kidnapped seven years before the events of The Lost Metal and held within Gave Entrone's isolated Community, she is a gifted Rioter who has built a life there with a husband and children. When Marasi arrives and reveals the truth about Entrone's deceptions, Armal sheds her initial reluctance toward violent revolt, helps incapacitate Entrone, and rallies the frightened townspeople. Her emotional Allomancy proves vital in draining power from the Set's portal, transforming her from a captive into a leader of the Community's liberation.
