Lieutenant Commander Stepan Arsenau appears only as a dead officer, his identity established by the white card on a lanyard around his neck. The back of his head has been crushed, while his brown eyes stare empty and a few whiskers remain from a missed shave. His brief presence is a grim reminder of the catastrophe’s human cost.

Description

Arsenau is a male officer, but his age, build, complexion, hair, and uniform are not described. His brown eyes are empty, and whiskers missed during shaving roughen his face. The back of his head is crushed, and a white identity card hangs from a lanyard at his neck.
