Ialai Sadeas is the wife of Highprince Torol Sadeas in The Stormlight Archive (Book 1).

Ialai Sadeas begins the series as a peripheral but shrewd presence at Highprince Torol Sadeas's side, a highborn Alethi woman glimpsed mainly within her husband's courtly household. After Sadeas is killed by Adolin Kholin, she becomes one of the Kholins' most persistent political enemies, allying with the Sons of Honor and scheming to replace Queen Jasnah with the young Gavinor. By Rhythm of War she is withered, hunted by Mraize's Ghostbloods, and cornered when Shallan and Adolin capture her. Though Shallan chooses to spare her, Ialai dies soon after in captivity, and the notes she leaves behind become crucial clues to the Ghostbloods' plans.
