Getruda is a squat, bowler-hatted agent of the Set, a Slider and healer deliberately built and trained as a mirror of Wayne, down to the dueling cane she flips with cocky street-tough ease. Introduced in The Lost Metal, she ambushes Marasi Colms in a warehouse, only for Wayne to intercept her in a brutal close-quarters duel in which he manages to restrain her before she slips away amid the wider chaos. Her seemingly unbreakable resilience ultimately proves to be her weakness: Waxillium Ladrian discovers that her rapid healing depends on a metalmind embedded in her arm and uses that knowledge to bring her down.
