Sister Ines Quiteria enters the dungeon as a devout, catlike nun armed with a glowing trident, flame, healing, and religious poetry, and at first seems a sincere and protective ally to Carl's group. Her piety and fear of 'false gods' like Ogun and Asojano mask a darker truth: she is El Segador de La Habana, imprisoned for poisoning the sisters of her convent, and her race skill slowly compels those around her to adore and defend her. After turning the dying Paz into a card and seizing control of the demon prince Amayon and the sea-snake boss Madre de Aguas, she becomes a threat Carl decides must die, and Louis delivers the killing blow. Her corpse then becomes the vessel for her patron goddess Ysalte, and by Book 7 she is remembered simply as the nun, serial killer, and cat girl.

Description

Sister Ines wears a nun’s habit beneath or alongside protective holy armor, which gives her a formidable, purposeful outline. Her hands are paw-like, a distinctive feature that softens the severity of her battle gear. She moves with intensity when focused, but her face can tighten with fear and her eyes squeeze shut when she is overwhelmed. Her presence balances religious resolve with unmistakable vulnerability. Sister Ines is a bipedal humanoid cat woman covered in short, coffee-colored fur, nearly black in the shadows. Her long, thin Siamese-like face is framed by rounded vertical ears, and her green eyes glow vividly. She wears a flowing cloak with arm bracers and carries a luminous trident that adds a sharp glow to her silhouette. Her manner is composed and purposeful, with a rough voice that gives her presence a grounded edge. Nun, serial killer lady, cat girl
