Geraldo is a level-70 monk seal and practitioner of Caribbean Kung Fu, first encountered as a coastal picket sentry in The Eye of the Bedlam Bride before being captured by the crawlers as a totem. Clad in a white robe and a red-hearted headband, he fights with exaggerated martial-arts flourishes and movie-style sound effects, serving as a flashy but time-limited summon with a sixty-second timer. His enthusiasm proves short-lived when Donut summons him against the hydra and he is struck down by the Monobrow Sam head's death ray, while his bickering rivalry with fellow totem Raul adds comic friction. By This Inevitable Ruin he is reduced to a passing mention.

Description

Geraldo is a male monk seal about six or seven feet long and weighing roughly 400 pounds, with slick gray skin and a broad, substantial body. His headbands are a signature: one is blue, while another is white with bright red hearts. At times he wears a white martial-arts robe, lending his already imposing seal form the air of a performer ready to take the stage. His movements are bold and theatrical, full of crisp, expressive martial-arts poses. The text gives no details of Geraldo’s appearance.
