Aelia Dorlani

Aelia is Churian’s grandmother and the Dorlani matriarch. Churian says she ordered him to participate in Adriana Grappo’s murder, and that refusing her was unthinkable.

Aelia says she followed Aristanes’s orders and identifies him as the planner and real killer behind Adriana’s murder.

Aelia is an enemy on the Inner Assembly and orders Dorlani operatives to steal Thessa’s project. Demir sees her as a threat to his guild-family and the phoenix-channel effort.

Kissandra believes Aelia is involved in Adriana’s murder and the violence against the Grappo. She seeks Montego’s help because she cannot safely confront Aelia alone.

Aelia orders an armed Dorlani team to break into the Hyacinth, search Thessa’s room, and seize all her project work.

Adriana played Kings and Pawns against Aelia Dorlani and reportedly won nine out of ten games.

Montego believes Aelia is implicated in Adriana’s murder and the Dorlani attack on the Hyacinth. He is determined to hold her responsible and discusses isolating and questioning her.
