Mesaana hides behind the appearance of a conventional White Tower sister, a disguise that allows her to move through the world of the Aes Sedai without drawing notice. Her true identity is exposed when the illusion falls away, revealing a blue-eyed woman in a green dress. Her confrontation ends with her bound and silenced by black flame, though she is later counted among the surviving female Forsaken. The contrast between her ordinary borrowed face and the danger she embodies defines her presence.
Description
Mesaana’s human appearance is that of a woman who seems a little younger than middle age, with blue eyes and features resembling an ordinary White Tower sister. Her face is composed and outwardly unremarkable, an appearance that can easily fade into the ranks of the Aes Sedai. She is seen in a green dress, with no further dependable details of her build, hair, or coloring specified. Her most distinctive visual quality is the quiet normality of her borrowed-looking guise.
