Peet is a bridgeman of Bridge Four whose steadiness helps anchor the crew as Kaladin turns a band of doomed men into a unit. In The Way of Kings he is wounded during bridge duty, recovers enough to rejoin practice, and becomes part of the fragile trust growing among the men. He is remembered for dependability rather than grand gestures. By Rhythm of War he is mentioned only in passing, a reminder of the original crew rather than a figure with a developing arc.

Description

Peet is a lean man, balding, with a neatly trimmed beard—or, in some descriptions, a clean-shaven face. He wears simple bridgeman clothes, including a brown leather vest and short trousers, practical garments suited to hard labor. His posture can be withdrawn, his gaze lowered, while worry often edges his voice; beneath that reserve is a quietly dependable presence.

  • Kaladinleader

Kaladin leads Peet as a member of Bridge Four. Peet relies on him for direction, especially when the crew takes on the perilous chasm-duty assignment. His steady loyalty is part of the trust Kaladin builds among the bridgemen. Later books do not develop the relationship further.
