Jezerezeh, also known as Jezrien or Jezerezeh'Elin, is the King of the Heralds, revered as master of storms and bringer of water and life. In The Way of Kings he appears in the prologue at the end of the last Desolation, his white-and-blue garb scorched and bloodied, leading the Heralds in abandoning the Oathpact and leaving Talenel to bear its torment alone. He is otherwise invoked in prayer and legend, including as the Herald of Luck. By Rhythm of War his majesty survives only in Dalinar's visions. In the present, the Herald has fallen, been captured by the singers and trapped in a gemstone, and his soul fades away, a sorrowful end for the once-exalted king.

Description

The text provides no definite physical description of Jezerezeh. He is identified as a male Herald and the Herald of Luck, and is only tentatively associated with a possible figure carved on a Parshendi knife hilt; his features, clothing, and build are unspecified. Jezrien looks like a man barely into his thirtieth year, his short black beard neatly trimmed. He is dressed in white and blue garments that were once fine but are now scorched and stained with blood. The text gives no further details of his build or features, but his posture carries a kingly authority even without a crown. Jezerezeh is described as an Alethi man with a beard and a regal, wise appearance. His face should convey solemn authority and hard-earned insight, though no precise age, complexion, hair color, or eye color is established. His build and clothing are likewise unspecified; a restrained, dignified style suits the impression of nobility without imposing unsupported details. His bearing is the clearest feature: grave, composed, and venerable. Jezrien is a bearded Alethi man whose appearance is described as regal and wise. His face carries the dignity of a figure long associated with reverence, and his beard is the one clear physical marker. No precise age, complexion, eye color, hairstyle, build, or clothing is supplied, so these should not be fixed beyond a restrained, venerable impression. His presence is solemn and authoritative.
