Unity Colony Transport Square begins as a modest, utilitarian space in the Obin-designed hospital district of the colony, serving as a quiet transit point for medical staff and visitors. Across the series, the square transforms from a simple widening in the traffic way into a symbolically charged nexus where personal and political destinies intersect, particularly during the events of The Shattering Peace. Its evolution mirrors the colony’s shift from a peripheral settlement to a focal point of interstellar diplomacy and conflict.
