Constable Gorglen first appears in The Lost Metal as Wayne’s eccentric former partner, a figure whose identity is immediately undercut by absurd paperwork claiming he is a giraffe in disguise. Later in the same novel he re-emerges as an unusually tall, unassuming record-keeper on Reddi’s staff, his awkward gait and transparent skin hinting at latent Allomantic or Feruchemical abilities. Across the book’s brief glimpses, Gorglen evolves from a running joke into a quietly enigmatic presence whose true nature remains deliberately unresolved.
Description
A tall, lanky man whose head nearly brushes the ceiling, with a long neck marked by freckles. His frame is unassuming and his gait somewhat awkward. He wears a constable's uniform and carries himself with quiet professionalism. Gorglen is described as a tall man whose head nearly touches the ceiling, but the text gives no reliable details of his face, skin, hair, eyes, or build. He wears a human disguise, though its style and particulars are not specified. His remarkable height is the one clear visual impression, lending him an awkwardly imposing presence.
