Camon is a corpulent, cruel thieving crewleader in Luthadel's underworld who dominates Vin's early life, beating her and unknowingly relying on her latent Allomancy as a 'good-luck charm' to fuel his crew's successes. His greed drives him to betray fellow crewleader Theron in a con against the Ministry, a scheme that collapses when Kelsier intervenes, strips him of his crew and money, and frees Vin. His lair is later found to be the site of a murder, as the Ministry's retribution falls on what remains of his operation. Though he does not appear in person in later books, Camon survives as a haunting memory, the brutal standard against which Vin measures every domineering figure she meets and a source of the hardened edges she carries through her transformation.

A squat, fat, overweight man with a pudgy face. He wears a white shirt, deep green vest with engraved gold buttons, long black suit coat, and matching black hat, with rings on his fingers and a fine dueling cane. Camon cuts a rugged figure, his build hardened by street violence with scarred knuckles from countless beatings. Unkempt dark hair frames a face twisted in cruelty, eyes burning with malice.
