Municipio St. George begins as a gritty, working-class borough of Backlund in Volume 2, serving as the backdrop for Klein Moretti’s early investigations into the criminal underworld and the machinations of secret organizations. As the series progresses, the district evolves from a mere setting into a microcosm of the city’s social tensions, where the struggles of the lower classes intersect with the supernatural threats that permeate the world. Its streets and alleys become the stage for pivotal confrontations that shape Klein’s understanding of the world’s hidden truths.
