Catenan Arena begins as an unseen, almost mythical construct in The Will of the Many—its existence implied through the rigid hierarchies and lethal competitions of the Hierarchy, yet never physically entered. Across the series it is destined to evolve from a distant, looming threat into a crucible of political power, personal sacrifice, and rebellion, where the very foundations of Catenan society are tested and ultimately challenged.
