Uzi Jesus is a gun-toting, haloed totem summoned during the Bedlam Bride arc, a Texan-accented messiah figure whose sacred iconography clashes gloriously with his submachine gun and his total unreliability. Captured by Florin and handed over to Princess Donut's deck, he lies to his deckmaster almost immediately and shoots himself in the shoulder, and he is later fused with Asojano into the undead Lazarus A-Bang-Bang. By This Inevitable Ruin his image has spread beyond the battlefield. He turns up as a 1970s death-cult icon and as a living action-figure toy that dispenses brash, irreverent advice to the struggling waystation owner Zander.

Description

A strikingly handsome white man with long, flowing hair and a clean, unmarked face, dressed in a loose white robe that flaps as if caught in a breeze no one else can feel. He goes barefoot, and a golden halo sparkles above him while a bright gold radiance gives him an almost stage-lit presence. His most distinctive accessories are the halo and his Uzi; in his more ornate presentation, he carries two gold-plated Uzis. His expression is capable of shifting from an easy, dazzling smile to comic agitation, lending the saintly costume a wonderfully unstable air. The human likeness of Uzi Jesus is described as a long-haired man in robes, standing with his hands on his hips and grinning; his hair color, face, eyes, and build are not specified. He is also represented as a large action-figure toy with a plastic gun and a head that turns. The overall impression is theatrical and deliberately provocative.
