Luke of the Lemig Sortion, a green, goblin-like alien later remembered as "Beautiful Luke" for his striking zomp-hued thighs, first appears in The Eye of the Bedlam Bride as a lighthearted presence who laughs at Donut's jokes and serves as a proxy for Commander Stockade. In This Inevitable Ruin he is revealed as a level 64 Lemig goblin and a general in the Democratic Sortion. His story ends brutally: he is stabbed in the back, his legs are cut off, and he is left dragging himself across the floor before he dies. His death shatters Commander Stockade, whose overwhelming grief, compounded by Shi Maria's insanity spell, drives the commander to suicide.
Description
Luke is a green humanoid creature with a goblin-like outline and an alien cast reminiscent of a Nullian. His precise build, facial details, eye color, and clothing are not specified, so his silhouette and vivid green coloring remain the clearest visual anchors. He has an easy, animated manner, often appearing on the verge of laughter. The overall impression is strange but companionable, with a loose, surfer-dude ease. Luke is a Lemig goblin, level 64, though the available descriptions give no precise details about his face, skin tone, hair, or clothing. His defining visual feature is his pair of zomp-hued thighs, strikingly colored against his goblin form. He has no legs and is described dragging himself across the floor, making his posture and movement unmistakable.
