Huanxin Jinx is a wealthy grixist heiress and CEO of Icon Industries whose sponsorship of gods in the Ascendency turns the crawlers into pawns in her feud with Odette. In The Eye of the Bedlam Bride she schemes through the goddesses Eileithyia and Dodola, threatens Carl's loved ones for leverage, and dangles protection on the twelfth floor before Katia. She appears to be caught up in Dodola's catastrophic death, but her bargain with Katia carries into This Inevitable Ruin. There Princess Donut exposes her exploitation of Katia and kills her with a crossbow bolt holding the ashes of Mordecai's mother, giving Mordecai a long-awaited vengeance for his brother's death.

Description

Jinx is a hairy, thin-necked grixist woman whose alien face is dominated by six eyes, lending her gaze an unnerving, many-sided intensity. The available descriptions establish no specific eye color, hairstyle, or skin tone, so these details should remain open. As a wealthy corporate heiress, she is best imagined in refined, high-status attire, worn with the self-assurance of someone used to command. Her presence feels sharp, watchful, and impatient. A female grixist. Her physical features are not described.
