Nesta Archeron, the imperious eldest Archeron sister, begins the series as a sharp-tongued, resentful presence in her family's impoverished cottage, scornful of her father's weakness and cold toward Feyre, yet fiercely protective of Elain and quietly more caring than she lets on. By A Court of Mist and Fury, she has hardened into a woman of steel-like bearing whose past failure to help Feyre strains their bond and earns Rhysand's lasting disdain. Her first encounters with the Night Court ignite a volatile, combative chemistry with Cassian, which softens into a charged, unspoken connection. She ultimately agrees to shelter Feyre's allies and aid their cause against Hybern.

Description

Nesta Archeron has blue-gray eyes beneath dark lashes and golden cheeks flushed with delicate vibrant pink. Her gold-brown hair appears in braided coils or half-up in a billowing sheet, occasionally woven with pearls. She wears a simple pale lavender muslin gown, maintains long neat nails, and wears an iron bracelet on her wrist while projecting an imperious and beautiful presence. A slim woman with a grave, stunning face, gray-blue eyes, and brown-gold hair. She carries herself rigidly and with a steel-like bearing.
