Vanin is a notably fat, ungainly rider whose baggy appearance disguises his ability in the saddle. He is associated with the Redarms’ crowded camp, where he lives among the soldiers. The brief glimpses of him make a contrast of his own: an awkward-looking man who is nevertheless thoroughly at home on horseback.
Description
Vanin is described as a very fat, heavy man with a baggy, ungainly build. He sways loosely in the saddle, his appearance compared to a sack of lard, though he is a capable rider. The text gives no details of his face, skin tone, hair, eyes, age, or clothing, so these should remain unspecified.
