Hound is Perrin Aybara’s sturdy bay warhorse, a faithful companion whose temperament is as forceful as his build. He proves protective of his rider, quick to put his teeth between Perrin and an unwelcome intruder. Perrin treats him with familiar affection, and Hound answers that care with dependable service and spirited loyalty.
Description
Hound is a stout, strong bay warhorse, with a deep brown coat and the substantial frame of a mount made for endurance. His neck and shoulders are powerfully built, and his restless head carriage gives him a spirited, watchful air. Practical tack suits his working role, while his alert ears and forceful manner make clear that he has a mind of his own.
