The eldest Sitter in the Hall, Romanda Cassin leads a powerful faction among the Yellow sisters and is known for testing Egwene with persistent counsel. Her tight gray bun and habitual look of disapproval announce a formidable, uncompromising presence. When Moria's proposal comes before the Hall, Romanda surprises those around her by rising to vote in its favor, showing that even her formidable certainty can take an unexpected turn.
Description
Romanda Cassin is an elderly, stern-faced woman with gray hair pulled tightly into a bun high at the back of her head. Her expression rests in habitual disapproval, while her speaking voice is unexpectedly high and almost musical. She wears a cloak embroidered with yellow flowers along its edges and a shawl finished with yellow fringe. Her severe composure and deliberate presence make her seem both formidable and difficult to sway.
