Meidani is an Aes Sedai whose appearance and composure mark her as part of the world of the White Tower, even when its loyalties are unsettled. She becomes involved in the hidden struggle among the sisters and is drawn into the plans surrounding the Black Ajah. Her role is shaped by the pressure of secrecy and divided trust, as she navigates a dangerous political landscape with the discipline expected of an Aes Sedai. The text gives her a striking visual presence but only a narrow window into her personal life.
Description
Meidani is tall and slender, with a full-bosomed figure and the ageless face characteristic of an Aes Sedai. Her dark golden hair is fastened with carved bone combs, a distinctive adornment that frames her composed features. She wears a close-fitting, embroidered bodice in dark silver and a gray shawl whose fringe falls all the way to the floor. Her bearing is formal and self-possessed, elegant without being delicate.
