Jondyn Barran serves Perrin as a trusted Two Rivers tracker and archer, using his experience to find the tracks of the Shaido wagons. He is sent out to scout after the people driven from the city, a task that reflects the confidence his companions place in his judgment. Though little is said about his private life, his loyalty and fieldcraft make him a steady presence in Perrin’s company.
Description
Jondyn Barran is a Two Rivers tracker and archer, but the text supplies no particular description of his face, skin, hair, eyes, or build. His appearance should remain grounded and practical rather than relying on invented identifying traits. Scouting clothes suited to travel and a bow are appropriate to his role, though no exact outfit or accessories are specified. He gives the impression of a patient, watchful man whose attention is fixed on the trail.
