Doral Barran was the Wise Woman of Emond’s Field before Nynaeve, and she is remembered in connection with an outbreak of typhus. Her brief mention places her in the village’s past, among those who bore responsibility when sickness threatened the community. The book offers no further account of her life or relationships.
Description
Doral Barran is identified as an elderly Wise Woman from Emond’s Field, but the text does not describe her build, complexion, hair, eyes, face, or clothing. A faithful visual depiction should convey her age and village authority without inventing particular features, garments, or accessories.
