Held captive in the Black Tower, Desandre chooses negotiation over futile defiance and gives the order to establish relations with the Asha’man holding her and the other Aes Sedai. Her decision marks her as a practical leader, seeking a measure of influence in an uncertain and dangerous position. The text offers little more of her personal history, leaving her defined by that act of careful resolve.
Description
The text gives no specific details of Desandre’s age, complexion, hair, eyes, build, or clothing, so these should remain unspecified in a faithful depiction. She is an Aes Sedai, and her bearing may be rendered composed and measured without assigning her an Ajah color or distinctive accessories.
