Kírsten is a veteran staff captain whose imposing, deeply lined face and enormous mustache mark him as a figure of long service. He carries himself with habitual seriousness, but the steadiness of his voice and expression can waver when feeling breaks through. Later, seen informally in shirt sleeves and breeches, he appears in a more unguarded, almost ceremonial pose, his raised arm lending him an old soldier’s majesty.
Description
Tall and powerfully weathered, Kírsten has large features heavily furrowed by wrinkles and grizzled hair. His most striking feature is his long, thick gray mustache, which he strokes with a calm, practiced gesture; his eyes can seem brighter when his reserve lifts. He wears the uniform of a staff captain, though he is also seen in shirt sleeves and breeches, his open shirt revealing a white chest. His presence is steady and imposing, with the broad-backed solidity of a seasoned cavalryman.
