Crazy Cyril is mentioned as one of “God’s own,” a man who goes barefoot through summer and winter. The novel offers no further account of his life or relationships, leaving the striking image of his bare feet as his defining mark.
Description
The only stated physical detail about Crazy Cyril is that he goes barefoot in both summer and winter. His age, stature, build, coloring, hair, eyes, face, and clothing are not described. A faithful visual rendering should keep those traits open and let his unshod feet and unadorned presence define the image.
