Brego was a king of Rohan and the father of Baldor, remembered for making a feast to hallow the newly built Meduseld. He and his son climbed the Stair of the Hold, an ascent that became part of the hall’s history. Though he appears only in recollection, his name links the golden hall to the generations who shaped its legacy.
