Antony Dresden is the polished, aristocratic executive behind Protogen's protomolecule project, a man whose expensive linen-and-silk suit and serene self-assurance mask a chilling willingness to sacrifice the population of Eros Station in the name of human advancement. When Holden's crew and Detective Miller finally confront him on Thoth Station in Leviathan Wakes, Dresden argues with prophetic zeal that the experiment will make humanity into gods. He is wholly convinced that men with guns cannot touch him, and Miller proves him wrong by executing him. By Caliban's War he survives only as a grim memory, recalled as the man shot three times in the head, execution-style. His fate stands as a symbol of the brutal justice dealt to those who unleashed the protomolecule.
Description
A tall man standing as high as any Belter yet built solid and powerful like someone from full gravity, Antony Dresden has the blue blood European good looks of old Earth aristocracy paired with a gym-sculpted physique and an expensive, perfectly styled haircut. His fair skin and carefully shaped eyebrows accent an expressive face that can shift from a pitying smile to shining with prophetic zeal or creasing with a thoughtful frown. He wears an expensive-looking suit of fine linen and raw silk without any trace of computer tailoring, carrying himself with supreme confidence as though armed men and threats simply do not apply to him. The text gives no description of Antony Dresden's appearance. His age, build, complexion, hair, eyes, facial features, clothing, and demeanor are unspecified.
