Jah Keved is the Veden kingdom, one of the great Vorin nations of Roshar and homeland of Shallan Davar. Introduced in The Way of Kings as a powerful but fractious realm, it is later torn apart by civil war after the assassination of King Hanavanar. In the chaos, Taravangian of Kharbranth maneuvers his way onto its throne. By Rhythm of War the kingdom stands as a stark example of the political scheming and upheaval reshaping Roshar.
