Known in folklore as Blightwind, Yelignar is described as a creature that could speak like a man, accompanied by the wails of those it consumed. The entity is later associated with a breach into the chancery, bringing an old, terrible name into unsettling proximity with the present. The text leaves its nature and appearance largely undefined.
