Thaidakar begins as little more than a name, a cryptic reference dropped by Gavilar Kholin in The Way of Kings that hints at hidden powers moving behind Roshar's politics. By Rhythm of War, the shadow takes shape: Thaidakar is revealed as the remote master of the Ghostbloods, steering their pursuit of the Oathgates and of ways to gather and transport Stormlight. He acts through an avatar and is linked to distant worlds and to an affliction resembling that of the Heralds, so he remains an enigmatic figure whose reach extends far beyond his visible presence.
Description
Thaidakar has no described appearance in the text. No details are given about age, build, skin tone, hair, eyes, facial features, clothing, or manner. Thaidakar is not physically described in these chapters, and his appearance should remain uncertain. The title “Lord of Scars” suggests a striking epithet, but does not establish that scars are visibly present. No details are given for his height, build, skin, hair, eyes, face, or clothing.
