Once a soldier, Kadash later serves as an ardent, bringing the discipline of his former life into a quieter vocation. His conversation with Kaladin turns toward faith, purpose, and the burdens a person chooses to carry. He remains a figure shaped by both worldly experience and religious conviction, wary of easy answers.
Description
Kadash is tall and in his later years, with a shaved head and a square beard that frames his face. A twisting scar runs around the top of his head, an unmistakable mark against his bare scalp. His light eyes and composed, soldierly bearing lend him a stern, observant presence. He wears the modest robes of an ardent.
