Hab serves as a spearman in Kaladin’s squad, one of the soldiers caught in the brutal uncertainty of battle. While fleeing a Shardbearer, he stumbles over Toorim’s corpse; later, Amaram’s soldiers kill him. The text offers little about Hab beyond these moments, making his fate part of the terrible cost paid by the men around Kaladin.
Description
Hab is identified as a male spearman, but the text does not establish his height, build, coloring, hairstyle, eyes, or facial features. No distinctive scars, accessories, or characteristic clothing are specified. His visual identity is therefore best kept modest and unembellished: a squad soldier in practical military attire, without invented features.
