Ashir appears briefly as an ardent, bringing a bowl of food. The text offers no further account of his history, relationships, or fate, leaving him a small but memorable figure of practical kindness.
Description
Ashir is a portly man with a shaven head and a neatly squared-off grey beard that gives his face a tidy, deliberate outline. Spectacles rest before his eyes, lending him a studious air. He wears the robes of an ardent, simple and dignified in their cut, and carries himself with quiet steadiness.
