The Sons of Ares Base begins in Red Rising as a cramped, rusting warren hidden beneath the Society’s gaze, serving as the first true sanctuary for the fledgling rebellion. By Light Bringer, the same organization’s lunar headquarters has been carved into moon rock, its spartan corridors lit only by chemical lamps, reflecting both the movement’s expansion and the hardening of its resolve. Across the series the base transforms from a desperate bolt-hole into a hardened nerve-center, its evolution mirroring the Sons’ shift from scattered insurgents to a galaxy-spanning revolutionary force.
