The New Forum emerges in Iron Gold as the gleaming, domed Senate house atop Hyperion’s Via Triumphia, symbolizing the Republic’s new democratic order under the Sovereign and the Dawn Scepter. By Dark Age it has grown into a vast, tiered hall on Luna, its high doors and central pit now the stage for the Republic’s most brutal political confrontations. Across the two books the Forum shifts from a ceremonial seat of government to a crucible where the Republic’s ideals are tested and often shattered.
