Winkle is a supporting character in Red Rising Saga (Book 4).

Gender: male
First appears: Book 4 · Ch. 27

A nihilistic Green with an unmistakable look, Winkle is already seasick when first encountered, though his sleepy-eyed detachment hardly softens. He performs a cranial drill procedure on Apollonius, later works from the communications pit amid holographic controls, and gives Rhonna access to the gunner chamber. His spindly, unhurried presence makes him seem almost casually at home amid machinery and danger.

Description

Winkle is a slender male Green with spindly arms, sleepy eyes, and acid-green hair that spikes upward in defiance of gravity. His face is crowded with piercings and fashionable digital tattoos; a blue dragon winds up his neck, its tongue reaching onto his chin. His clothes are not described in detail, but he is seen operating communications equipment from a white padded chair. He has a languid, nihilistic air, as though the world rarely manages to surprise him.
