Volsung Fá emerges in Dark Age as a towering, mutilated Obsidian warlord whose grotesque modifications—metal throat, clawed hand, and slave brands—mark him as both victim and weapon of the Society’s brutal hierarchies. By Light Bringer, the same giant has traded his spiked armor for a gold crown, signaling his ascension from Atlas au Raa’s engineered instrument to a self-styled king among the Obsidians of the Rim. Across the two books his arc transforms him from a silent, chain-dragging executioner into a crowned sovereign whose very body embodies the fusion of slave conditioning and imperial ambition.
Description
An exceptionally large, heavily muscular human man with pale flesh, metal integrated into his arms and pectorals, and a metal-ribbed throat. He has a huge blood-smeared mouth and a long white tail of hair. In his armored appearance, he wears thick, rough, jagged armor covered in spikes, with a spiked helmet; he carries a spear and a crescent fist-blade. His eyes are described as dark pits. Gargantuan Obsidian with ropey muscle like an albino python, a metal jaw, a clawed metal hand, and one tech-mod eye; black spiked armor and a gold crown.
