The unnamed skeletal bald White appears briefly in the grand spectacle of the Institute's triumph, perched at the top of the stairs as a haggard emblem of Gold tradition, her milky eyes and warbling voice bestowing the laurel crown upon the victor. Haggard from years of service to the Society's rituals, she embodies the decaying reverence of the Color hierarchy in that single, poignant moment. Though her role is fleeting, she underscores the ancient, frail pageantry that frames the brutal games of the Golds.
Description
Skeletal and bald, her elderly frame is gaunt and haggard, with sallow skin stretched taut over sharply protruding bones like aged parchment. Milky eyes, clouded and unseeing, blink with a gentle, almost tender care amid her frail emaciation. She wears the flowing white robes of her high Color station, simple yet regal, her bony arthritic hands capable of cradling delicate laurel crowns. A warbling demeanor clings to her, evoking serene ancient wisdom despite her pitiful fragility. In the afternoon light, she stands as a dignified specter of bygone eras.
