Narol of Lykos begins as a weary, gray-streaked Red miner whose scarred face and slumped posture betray years of hardship in the Lykos mines. Across the saga he transforms from a cautious informant for the Sons of Ares into a pivotal family figure whose secret actions—drugging and saving his nephew Darrow after Eo’s execution—ignite the rebellion’s chain of events. By Morning Star his legacy has become both a rallying symbol of Lykos’s humble roots and a haunting reminder of the personal costs paid for freedom, culminating in his reported execution by the Jackal.
Description
A thirty-five-year-old man with pale ghostly skin and a tired leering face marked by a scar twisting his upper lip into a sneer. Thick hair streaked with gray frames his worn features while his big powerful build strains against a tattered red shirt, the posture slumped from years of drink and the mines. Long hard blinks pain his expression as he plays a zither slung at his hips or clutches a flask, every line of his body speaking to a once-strong Red miner now aged and shadowed by caution. A large, pale, tired-looking human man of about thirty-five, with thick hair streaked gray and a coarse beard. A scar twists his upper lip, and his nostrils flare wide above a worn, heavy-lidded expression. Dress him in plain, practical clothing appropriate to a working mining community. The text identifies Narol as a male Red miner but provides no specific account of his appearance. His height, build, complexion, hair, eyes, face, clothing, and distinguishing features are not stated. A visual depiction should therefore remain restrained, without assigning him particular scars, accessories, or colors. Middle-aged with a rugged, weathered face etched by mine dust and labor, Narol has short-cropped dark hair and deep-set brown eyes that hold quiet resolve. His square jaw is shadowed by stubble, and his muscular build speaks of years swinging a pickaxe. He wears simple Red miner's coveralls, patched and dirt-stained, with heavy boots suited for pitvipers' paths. His presence is steady and unassuming, hands callused and strong.
