Milia begins as a ragged, horse-faced survivor in the Institute’s brutal contest, rising from a low-ranking Oathbreaker to one of Darrow’s trusted lieutenants. By Golden Son she has transitioned into the political orbit of House Augustus, serving as a minor but memorable ally to Mustang. In Iron Gold she reappears as a nihilistic Howler, piloting a starShell in the assault on Deepgrave before being bisected in combat—her arc ending in the same grim, violent fashion that defined her life.
Description
A tall, willowy young woman with a bony frame and slight hunch to her narrow shoulders, Milia moves with the purposeful stride of a hardened survivor. Her long, horse-like face dominates her appearance, featuring a prominent nose that wrinkles in observation and a mouth that readily forms content grins, all framed by the rough, unkempt look of someone who has endured the savage contests of the Institute. Rags and stolen furs wrap her spare form while her low drawling voice and gritty demeanor mark her as a capable leader among the Oathbreakers, undeterred by mockery of her gargoyle-like features. Milia is a tall, willow-thin teenager, her narrow, bony frame making her seem almost too slight for the rough world around her. Her long, horse-like face and faintly hunched shoulders give her an unmistakable silhouette; her hair and eye color are not specified. She is dressed in worn rags layered with stolen furs, and at one point an arrow blow leaves an eye swollen. Her presence is raw and watchful, at once vulnerable-looking and resilient. Milia is a Gold woman in her 20s with a distinctive long, horsefaced profile. Sharp, elongated features mark her face, paired with an athletic build. She carries a poised presence in elegant Gold attire. Milia is described as a horsefaced Gold, her elongated features marked by an ugly smile. Her specific coloring, hair, eyes, and build are not provided. She carries herself with the poised, evaluating air of a Gold, and her distinctive face is the clearest visual mark by which she is known. Pale skin stretches over sunken cheeks, giving her a nihilistic, recently resurrected haggardness. Her eyes hold a distant, world-weary void that speaks of quiet despair. Milia is a woman with pale skin and sunken cheeks that give her face a gaunt, hollowed quality. Her specific hair, eyes, height, and build are not described. She wears scarabSkin armor, whose close, protective form suits her severe, battle-ready presence.
