Cassius au Bellona begins as the golden scion of House Bellona, a charismatic Morning Knight whose life is defined by vengeance after Darrow kills his twin brother Julian. Across the saga, his arc transforms from a proud, honor-bound enemy of the Rising to a haunted exile who ultimately redeems himself by becoming Darrow’s steadfast ally and Lysander’s surrogate father. His journey is marked by devastating losses—his family, his arm, his sight—and a gradual shedding of the rigid Gold ideals that once consumed him, culminating in a sacrificial death that bridges the old world and the new.
Description
A strikingly handsome young man of impeccable breeding with smooth lustrous skin, a wide and white smile, and golden curls that bounce like coiled springs around his regal head. Lively eyes dance over those nearby as he carries himself with natural arrogance and the bearing of a perfect knight, his body moving with graceful power whether in polished durosteel armor that shimmers like his hair or while galloping through enemies with a sword flickering like a tongue of fire. A handsome young man with golden curls, lively eyes, and a broad, wide white smile. His skin is smooth and lustrous, and his bearing is polished and aristocratic. His golden curls may be clean and springy or, after hardship, matted with grit and grease. A handsome man with thick, curly hair, a cleft chin, and powerful broad shoulders. He carries himself with a polished, martial bearing. A tall, broad-shouldered Gold man with thick, lustrous golden curls, a cleft chin, a handsome face, and a bright white smile. He wears Morning Knight armor bearing a rising sun. In the duel he is wounded in the face and knee and loses his sword arm; Mustang covers his wounded body. Cassius au Bellona stands over two meters tall with a broad-chested, athletic warrior's build and a strikingly beautiful face that looks as though carved by Michelangelo. His coiled hair falls lustrously like the trail of a falling star, accenting a clean-shaven visage with a slightly crooked nose from a break, a dimpled chin, and features that pulse with life and can appear tender or sad. Scars trace his broad neck from a hanging and arrow wound, yet he moves with innate grace whether clad in the white and gold cloak of the Morning Knight or simple garments, his presence always commanding and vital. A tall, broad-shouldered Gold man with curled golden hair and dark-gold eyes, a thick pointed beard, a prominent bold nose, and a Peerless Scar. In chapter 38 his face is swollen and punctured, with blood and milky fluid in his beard; after shaving in chapter 40, his beard is gone and facial wounds remain swollen and red. Later duel injuries include a deep left-shoulder laceration, bleeding forehead, sliced knuckles, and cuts; by chapter 41 his golden curls are matted with blood and sweat. Tall, broad-shouldered young man with curled, coiled gold hair, dark-gold eyes, a thick pointed beard, and a prominent bold nose. He wears a dark blue coat with feathered silver epaulets and a silver-fringed collar, silver buckles on his boots, and a silver razor at his hip. His face bears a Peerless scar. Clad in brilliant white armor that gleams under spaceship lights, his helmet resembles a rising sun that retracts smoothly to reveal a face of sharp, aristocratic features befitting a Gold house scion. He stands with noble poise in the open garage bay of the Archimedes. His build is tall and commanding, exuding refined authority. The armor's intricate designs catch the light, emphasizing his elegant, poised demeanor. Cassius au Bellona stands over seven feet tall with a powerful frame like a highGrav boxer and too-wide shoulders. His golden curls shine lustrously around a strikingly handsome face with a dented chin. He wears shifting Godkiller armor that mutates with light or a pale blue tunic beneath a storm cloak, projecting the regal bearing of a Bellona noble.
