The Consu Microbial Weapon first appears in The Shattering Peace as an invisible, rapidly necrotizing agent carried by the Consu, capable of liquefying human tissue on contact. Across the series, it evolves from a rumored exotic bioweapon into a confirmed, battlefield-deployed threat that forces Colonial Defense Forces to overhaul their protective protocols. Its deployment marks a shift in Consu warfare doctrine, emphasizing stealth and biological terror over traditional kinetic engagements.
