Kostantino Karagkounis emerges in The Shattering Peace as a towering Diplomatic Security Corps trainee whose sheer physical presence—half a meter taller and fifty kilos heavier than his peers—makes him an imposing figure in the field. His unconventional methods prove effective when he commandeers a getaway van to thwart a kidnapping attempt, demonstrating both resourcefulness and a willingness to bend protocol in service of his duty. Though his role is limited to this single appearance, his actions suggest a character whose imposing stature is matched by decisive action under pressure.
