Czar martwej głowy begins in Antykwariat Pod Salamandrą as a forbidden projection spell that resurrects the memories and personality of the deceased from a single enchanted book. Across the Mons Viridis Magicus series, the spell evolves from a mere archival tool into a dangerous conduit for necromantic influence, allowing the dead to manipulate the living and even reshape their own identities. Its repeated use raises ethical questions about consent, identity, and the boundaries between life and death, culminating in its role as a catalyst for major plot conflicts.
