Pierre Tabardi emerges in the first volume of Mons Viridis Magicus as a covert operative of the Atramentowa Liga whose clandestine liaison with Julia Scrybonia collapses into public exposure and catastrophic injury. After a savage assault orchestrated by Agata’s faction leaves him crippled, a magia-borne plague resistant to conventional treatment transforms his body into a battleground of invasive interrogations by truth-speakers, stripping away both his agency and his secrets. Across the series, his arc shifts from shadowy antagonist to a broken emblem of the Liga’s ruthless ambition, his suffering underscoring the personal cost of magical espionage.
Description
Pierre Tabardi is a middle-aged man with a gaunt build, his sallow skin stretched taut over prominent cheekbones and a sharply angled jaw. His dark hair hangs disheveled, framing piercing gray eyes that burn with wary intelligence beneath furrowed brows. Bandages and heavy plaster casts encase his broken hands and legs, visible beneath a rumpled hospital gown faintly stained with medicinal residue. A subtle tension defines his posture, even in repose, as if every nerve hums with unspoken calculation. Faint bruises shadow his face, lending him the haunted look of one perpetually on edge.
