Hannah Sorensen first appears in the opening volume as a nameless, feral combatant whose whirlwind duel with the Mongol invaders ends in a heroic last stand. Though her physical presence is brief, her sacrifice becomes a recurring motif that later characters invoke when they speak of courage bought with blood. Across subsequent books her legend grows from a single, bloody vignette into an almost mythic archetype—the piercing, the twin blades, the refusal to yield—used by narrators to measure the resolve of new heroes facing overwhelming odds.

Description

Hannah is a young woman with an athletic fighter's build, wiry and powerful, her fair skin taut over muscles forged in combat. Wild, tousled dark hair frames a sharp face dominated by piercing eyes that burn with intensity, and a prominent silver nose piercing that catches the light. She wears battered leather armor fitted for mobility, scarred from countless skirmishes, with dual short blades always at the ready in her callused hands. Her presence is one of feral energy, coiled and unyielding, every movement precise and savage.
